Clubs can have sanctioned USA tryouts and start offering positions starting July 7th, 2023
Commitment Dates (Clubs cannot force you to commit before these deadlines once the offer has been extended:
- Early Commitment Date (All offers will expire after this deadline): August 6th, 2023, 11:59pm
- Fall Commitment Dates (All offers will expire after these deadlines):
- 14U and Younger Age Groups - October 31, 11:59pm
- 15U and Older Age Groups - November 7, 11:59pm
- The ONLY offers recognized by the region are through the Online Commitment System. If a club extends an offer make sure that they send it through the OCS. This is to protect both the player and the club. If your player did not have a USA Volleyball membership in the (515) 727-1860 Season, parents will need to put their players information into the OCS.
You must have a membership before you can participate in any USA Volleyball tryouts. Memberships will not expire until August 31st. If you are a current member you will not need a tryout membership.
If you are already committed to a club you must wait until your club is ready for the season. When ready they will send you a link that will take you through the membership and club assignment process. You can purchase ahead of time if you like, just click on the link below. You will just have to wait until you receive the links from the club directors for your club assignment.
If the player turns 18 before August 31st they will have the 18U Player Membership. Since they turn 18 before the end of the USAV membership season (August 31st) they are required to take SafeSport and will need that membership.
All players that are 17U and Younger (ex 12's, etc) are given the 17U and Under membership, regardless of age or team they are playing on.
How to access your membership card -
- Go to your SportsEngine Account
- Click on Household
- Click on "View Profile" under the athlete's name
- Click on "View Details" under the Iowa Region Membership
- Click "Save Membership Card" next to the current season's membership
- Click the appropriate option to print or save the card
